1 Year Anniversary Update!

The 1-year anniversary release of my first book is coming up on the 24th of October and I'm super excited! I'll be throwing a 50% off sale for a whole week, so tell your friends!! 👀

As I built up to this anniversary, I realised that in the past few months I've felt unsatisfied with the book, so I decided to take a short break from writing the sequel (it's coming!) to re-edit this one with the aim of polishing it up into a state I'm at least a bit happier with. I've grown a lot as a writer in the past year, and sought to deal with the smaller issues like minor flaws in grammar and punctuation up to the larger problems like a couple of plotholes, better continuity with the upcoming sequel, and a Whole New Opening Chapter after a lot of the feedback I recieved focused on the slow start. It still might take a little while for the plot to kick in, depending on your taste, but I hope I'll have sunk the hooks in deep enough to get you to that point with this new introduction!

I doubt this kind of update will happen again for any of my books unless there's some real big mistake to attend to. In this case, I wanted it to be a learning opportunity for myself and some time to reflect on how I've grown now that you all have helped me really dedicate myself to this practice.
